Located in India’s economical capital - Gurgaon, the service office take place on the 7th floor of a building, surrounded by factories and MNC’s headquarter.
Tushar Mittal enlisted the help of French designer Valentin Blanchard to create a "new typology" of office design.
As a common understanding between the two, they foresee the end of open-plan layout - creating now-days so many issues in regard of the actual Pandemic.

Moreover, as any service office would expect, the design needed to forefront wellbeing and productivity, but mostly allowing multiple layout configurations and changes according to the client needs. The designer decided to divided up the floor into several “pockets” all interchangeable with the other one. Starting with a very cosy lift lobby -made almost entirely with wooden batten- then a welcome pantry, 3 work zones close up by several elevated glass which both act as barriers as well as writable surfaces, 5 cabins - that act as on-demand workspaces-, 1 private meeting room, 1 phone booth and a collaborative/ creative zone along the bright facade. Having in that sense the brighter side for creativity and innovation.

By that configuration, the space planning seamlessly enforces the idea of social distancing with ample space but encourages the idea of collaboration through purposefully designed glass partitions. In terms of aesthetic, the designer wanted to keep it as simple as possible. Mixing International functionalism language with some Indian touches, using a combinaison of earthy and bright colors as well as traditional rugs. Most of the cabin’s interior partition are made from recycle plastic panels that help the acoustic by reducing the eco, a huge benefit to creating privacy.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere coming out from the interior, an assortment of plants, large art frames and various decorations are spread across the floor, boosting the wellbeing of the employees and, in turn, their productivity.
