Solea architecture is a harmonious blend of local and natural elements, rooted in sustainability. By integrating Nusa Penida's indigenous limestone and rich wood accents, each structure pays homage to the island's heritage while promoting eco-friendly practices.
Located in the serene paradise of Nusa Penida, a picturesque island neighboring Bali, this project with breathtaking views of the sea, was designed to produce feelings of calmness and serenity. The design harmoniously integrates modern tropical aesthetics with traditional Balinese elements, creating a luxurious yet organic living space.
The structure showcases a seamless blend of open-air living and privacy. The façade features clean, white walls with natural stone accents and arched openings, evoking a sense of timeless elegance. Large wooden pergolas with woven natural materials provide shade while complementing the tropical surroundings.
The centerpiece is an infinity pool that extends from the villa, visually merging with the ocean horizon. Framed by lush landscaping and swaying palm trees, the outdoor living areas are designed to maximize comfort and relaxation. Cozy seating areas and a hanging swing bed invite guests to unwind while connecting with nature.
Inside, the open-plan layout features high ceilings and expansive glass doors, which flood the interiors with natural light and allow for uninterrupted ocean views. The decor embraces a minimalist approach with earthy tones, rattan furniture, and tropical greenery, adding warmth and texture.
